TNPSC Recruitment 2012 Details :
Name of the Post : Village Administrative Officer
No. of Posts : 1870 Posts
Department : Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service (Code No.050)
Pay Scale : Rs.5,200 – 20,200/- + 2,400G.P (PB1)
Educational Qualification (as on 09.07.2012) : Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
Note : The applicants who have not passed S.S.L.C. Examination or its equivalent are not eligible even if they possess a higher qualification.
Age Limit : 21 – 30 years ( 21 – 40 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes ) as on 1st July 2012.
Examination Fee : Rs.125/- ( Includes Rs.75/- Examination and Rs.50/- Cost of application) – Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.
How to Apply : All the eligible Candidates are required to apply ONLINE. No other mode/means of applying is acceptable. After submitting the application, candidates can print /save their application in PDF format. On entering Application Number and password, Candidates can download their application and print, if required.
Important Note : All the Candidates need not send the printout of the online application or any other supporting documents to the Commission. The certificates will be verified only when the candidates come up for next stage of selection.
Last date of applications : 10th August, 2012
Last date for payment of Fee through Bank or Post Office : 14th August, 2012
Date of Written examination : 30th September 2012 – Forenoon – 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.
