1) Constable (District and GRP) : 1193 SC, 130 ST, 1435 MBC, 549 BC, 258 BC female, 1855 General

Educational Qualification :
All the Candidates who want apply for this job must be Pass 10th Board.
Age Limits & Relaxation : Age must be between the 18 to 23 years on 1st January 2012. In case of BC and MBC candidates the age limit is 25 years while for SC/ ST candidates the upper age limit is 28 years.
Selection Process :
Written Test : First of all candidates will have to appear in the written exams of 300 marks (100 questions).
Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test :
All the Candidates must meet the following physical requirements.
Height : 165 cm (162 cm for OBC, 160cm for SC/ ST, Gorkha 158 cm) For female candidates the minimum height requirement is 155 cm.
Chest : 81 cm with 5 cm expansion. Those candidates who are from SC/ ST category the chest requirement is 79cm and minimum expansion is 5cm.
Events of Physical Efficiency Test :
1. Running of 0ne mile within 6 minutes.
2. High Jump of 4 foot.
3. Long Jump of 12 foot.
4. Shot Put (16 pound) 16 foot
PET events for female candidates :
1. Running of 1 mile in 6 minutes.
2. High Jump of 3 foot.
3. Long Jump of 9 foot.
4. Shot Put (12 pounds) 10 foot
