Recruitment Details of Indian Navy Pilot :

Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Pilot/Observer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing December 2012 at Naval Academy.



Post Name : Pilot/ Observer

• Qualifications : A Graduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% marks with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level.
• No. Of Post : 30 (SC 04, ST 2, OBC 8, GEN 16) Posts.
• Age Limit : 21-30 Years. Between 19 to 24 years (candidates to be born between 02 Jan 1989 to 01 Jan 1994; both dates inclusive).
• Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs.5400/- PM .

Short Service Commission(SSC) is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

Physical Standards :

• Height and Weight :  Minimum height for men162.5 cms. and for women 152 cms. with correlated weight, leg length, sitting   height and thigh length.

• Eye Sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distantvision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour/ night blind.
